Job details: The Department of Prime Minister & Cabinet requires a variety of technical business analysts for a major ICT Modernisation program. Successful candidates will work closely with the program business architect, project teams and stakeholders to develop in-depth understanding of business processes, technical infrastructure, technical services, and development of a strategic roadmap. They will engage with project, technical and executive stakeholders. Intermediate and senior business analysts are required. BAs with experience in cyber security, applications, data and data migration are encouraged to apply. NV1 minimum required for these roles; NV2 is desirable. PM&C will not upgrade clearances. Key duties and responsibilities: Business Analysts will undertake the following: Lead business and system analysis activities for a complex ICT uplift program, ensuring alignment with agency objectives. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating workshops and leading discussions to gather business requirements. Develop process maps, data models, and use cases to provide a clear representation of business operations. Provide strategic advice and solutions to program and project managers, and leadership teams. Identify opportunities for process improvements. Contribute to the overall project objectives and specific team deliverables. Working arrangements This role is located in the Canberra office at 1 National Circuit, Barton ACT and it is expected that the successful candidate will work on site, however flexible working arrangements may be considered and agreed upon request. The engagement will be based on an 8-hour day, excluding ACT and National public holidays and the standard PM&C Christmas shutdown period.
