Speech Therapist Role
We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team, providing clinical services to participants aged 0-65. You will work across various settings, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, and community settings.
The role involves assessing and developing communication plans for clients with diverse needs and presentations. You will provide swallowing and paediatric feeding assessments, mealtime management plan development and reviews, and augmentative and alternative communication assessments.
You will also be responsible for delivering ongoing therapy sessions, working closely with clients and their families to achieve their goals.
To be successful in this role, you must have tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology, registration with SPA, and a car and driver's licence. You should also have experience working with children and adults with disabilities, and be able to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assessing and developing communication plans for clients
2. Providing swallowing and paediatric feeding assessments
3. Developing and reviewing mealtime management plans
4. Delivering augmentative and alternative communication assessments
5. Delivering ongoing therapy sessions
Working Arrangements
This is a part-time or full-time role, depending on your preference. You will work across various environments, including telehealth and ORS offices.
