Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to
* Greeting and providing support to patients
* Answering phone calls and dealing with patient queries
* Booking appointments and updating patient information
* Dealing and assisting with doctors and Nurses
* Administration support and other ad hoc duties
* Processing consultation payments and Medicare rebates
* Triage emergencies when and if they occur.
* Always maintain the confidentiality of patient personal and financial information
* Excellent customer service, confidentiality, and high ethics standard are a must in this role.
* This is a long-term position with excellent job security.
* Hours of work would generally be 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
Skills and experience
* Strong communication skills with a friendly and confident personality
* Well-presented and exceptional commitment to patient care/service. Previous experience will be well regarded.
* Highly organized, attention to detail, and aptitude for multitasking
* Fast learner and competent in using Microsoft Office
* Experience in using Best Practice patient management system or equivalent is highly desirable.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
