About The Role
As a member of our Rehabilitation Ward, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Director of Clinical Services, Nurse Unit Manager, and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the core values and the strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
You are responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, the nurse supports patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, promoting independence, and enhancing quality of life.
Your duties will include:
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of nursing care to all patients within the department
- Responsible for completing all mandatory training requirements and all clinical department /speciality specific competencies
- Check, prepare and administer all medications in accordance with state legislation and organisational policies and procedures
- Accurately assess a patient’s condition at a given time and report any inconsistent or significant changes to the registered nurse in charge
- Display a high level of problem-solving skills and techniques with subsequent evaluation of outcomes
- Participate in planning, delivery and evaluation of care
- Observe and implement Infection Control policies and procedures
About You
- Relevant qualifications and registrations with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience working in Rehabilitation
- Flexibility to work a rotating 7-day roster is essential
- Demonstrates excellent time management and organisational skills
- Work well with a team
Remuneration: Registered Nurse: $36.13 - $ 49.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
