Town planner (bega)

We have two opportunities for dynamic individuals to assist in the planning and management of the natural and built environment of the Bega Valley Shire, and to assist and advise the Planning Services Coordinator on planning objectives, policies and guidelines, having regard to community expectations and changing physical, social, and economic demands.

We are seeking individuals who hold a tertiary qualification in Urban and Regional Planning (or equivalent) and have a current NSW Class C driver's licence. We are open to applicants who demonstrate any amount or range of town planning experience, including Graduate Town Planners seeking further experience.

Required skills and experience:

• Proficiency in policy formulation and implementation.
• High level analytical and investigative skills including demographic, socio-economic, and land use supply and demand.

This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week.

The total remuneration package for this position commences at$107,465.93 gross per annum, comprising of:

• $1,853.50 per week base salary
• $213.15 per week superannuation (%)
