Our company prides itself on being locally owned and operated for over 60 years.

In that time, Coffs Harbour Blinds and Awnings has established itself as one of the area's most respected and reliable manufacturers with a reputation for quality and excellence second-to-none.

The business was established in 1964 by Bill & Joyce Jeff with a staff of three, supplying venetian blinds, window awnings & screen doors. Now, 60 years later Coffs Harbour Blinds & Awnings has grown to a staff in excess of 50 and we manufacture and distribute a wide range of quality window coverings and home improvement products.

The majority of our products are manufactured from our factory at 2 Hi-Tech Drive, Toormina. Our Luxaflex Window Fashions Gallery is also at this address and offers the most exciting display of Window Fashions products on the North Coast.

The Roles

We are expanding our team and have two positions available – One at our Head Office in Toormina, and one at our Port Macquarie branch. We are seeking motivated and experienced Sales Consultants to join us full-time.

As a Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve beautiful, functional spaces through our window furnishings solutions.

Please note that our business is closed over Christmas (from 23rd Dec, re-opening 5th Jan) – all applications will be reviewed and contacted in the New Year.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct in-home (and occasionally showroom) consultations with clients

· Recommend & quote tailored solutions including blinds, shutters, curtains and awnings

· Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism

· Provide effective and timely responses to customer requests and contribute to sales targets

· Continually develop and improve knowledge of our range of products

· Identify areas and functions within sales that can be improved

· Collaborate & communicate effectively with our Customer Service & Administration team

· Effectively manage administrative tasks such as data entry, document management and correspondence to support operations

· Actively prospect and identify new sales opportunities within the local market

Skills & Experience:

· Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably within the construction or window furnishings industry

· Current Driver's Licence

· Current Police Check & Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain

· Proficient in the use of technology

· Ability to read and interpret architectural plans

· Excellent communication skills

· Pro-active mindset and ambition to succeed

· Strong networking & relationship building skills

· Empathetic person that loves creating a great experience for customers & resolving any issues

· Good problem solving and time management skills

· Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team

· Proactive and self-motivated with a drive to achieve sales targets
