About the role
This position reports to the Care Worker Supervisor and we have several casual and permanent positions available.
This role provides a range of services to our elderly clients to support them to remain in their home. This includes domestic assistance: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, washing dishes, bed making, washing and ironing clothes as well as shopping and transport to appointments.
The Successful Candidate
To be considered you must have:
* Previous experience in domestic assistance or cleaning will be highly regarded
* Driver's licence and reliable car with full comprehensive insurance
* Smart phone and basic understanding of how to use apps
* Basic knowledge in using computers and emails
Students completing certificates in Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Disabilities, or Individual support are encouraged to apply

Remuneration
Position is subject to award conditions under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 as Home Care Employee Grade 1 ($31.13 per hour plus casual loading if applicable).
Uniform and laundering allowance provided as well as travel time between clients and kilometres ($0.99 per km).
CareWays permanent employees are also able to access salary packaging up to $15,899 tax free each year, meaning more money in your take home pay.
