Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Coordinator to manage all commercial and contract matters on allocated subcontracts for our landmark project.
This project will replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and expand services and choice for women, newborns and families, delivering lasting benefits and a positive legacy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance with Operating Standards throughout project delivery and adhere to subcontracting standards
2. Support internal stakeholders with tendering, negotiation and formation of assigned subcontracts
3. Assist with project subcontracting strategy for assigned subcontracts
4. Partner with internal management and stakeholders to review project budget and ensure adequate allocation to subcontracts
5. Administer all subcontracts to optimise earnings on project
6. Assist with preparation of claims and variations for adjustment of compensation and time under head contract and assigned subcontracts
7. Manage and resolve claims with subcontractors/suppliers in accordance with Contract Formation and Administration Operating Standards
Requirements and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, law, construction management and economics (CM&E) preferred
* Minimum 3 years direct experience in managing subcontractors and suppliers
* Demonstrated experience as contracts administrator or commercial/contracts advisor on building projects
* Highly organised with ability to work autonomously and as part of team
* Exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail and desire to drive outcomes
