Attractive roles are available for a high-volume CSSD setting Clinical Nurse who can provide direct mentorship and clinical guidance to staff and vocational students.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular quality control audits to ensure effective processes
* Oversee documentation management including archiving steriliser records and Instructions for Use
* Mentor junior staff members in their tasks, providing expert knowledge of AS/NZS 5369 (Reprocessing of reusable medical devices)
* Evaluate staff competencies to complete CSSD tasks effectively
* Liaise with external companies regarding loan sets
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of recent experience as a Clinical Nurse in a high-volume CSSD environment, with proven leadership skills. A current Registered Nurse AHPRA registration is mandatory, along with expertise in AS/NZS 5369 guidelines.
