We are seeking a dedicated, highly skilled Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. As the second-in-command, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to lead kitchen operations, maintain high culinary standards, and ensure consistency across all dishes. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef with leadership skills and a strong background in kitchen management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
* Oversee food preparation and ensure high quality, consistency, and presentation
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and mentorship
* Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety regulations
* Assist in menu planning, costing, and inventory control
* Monitor kitchen stock, ordering supplies as needed
* Step into the Head Chef's role when required
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior kitchen role (minimum 2–3 years)
* Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards
* Leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication and time management
* Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
