Position Summary:
Working as part of the Human Resources Team, you will be responsible for assisting in providing a high level of HR support across all teams in the organisation. This includes assisting with recruitment, entering data in HR Information Systems, and general HR administration, with the ability to multi-task and use initiative. Operating out of our Broome Office, this position is a full-time fixed term contract, running through to 31 December
Key Responsibilities:
Duties
• Monitor HR Inbox and respond to general HR enquiries.
• Maintain data and processes within HRIS (ConnX) and provide system support to staff.
• Regular filing and maintenance of personnel files whilst maintaining an extremely high level of confidentiality in all tasks engaged in and understand the sensitivity of any information received or encountered during the position.
• Assist with the administration of the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting advertisements, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks and drafting approved contracts.
• Schedule new hire onboarding and inductions and help facilitate some of the sessions as required.
• Administer the ordering of uniforms for new staff.
• General HR duties and reporting.
• Provide administrative support to the Business Operations Admin team if required, including occasional reception coverage and support for large meetings.
Occupational Safety and Health
• Prioritise and manage the continuous improvement of safe working practices, processes and policies across unit activities.
• Actively contribute to the health and safety of the workplace by adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
Compliance
• Comply with all internal KLC policies and procedures and ensure the team's adherence.
• Demonstrate and role model the KLC's Vision and Values.
Other
• Other administrative tasks as reasonably required.

• Satisfactory National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months).
Desirable:
• Qualifications or experience in Human Resources or related field
• Demonstrated administration experience in an office environment
• Current valid Driver's Licence
