Job Description/Key Responsibilities:
* Efficient use of the Opera Cloud and Ivvy systems
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
* Respond to all incoming reservations calls, emails and enquiries from guests, travel agents and corporate companies regarding Group Accommodation.
* Coordinate all group bookings from contract stage to final account processing
* Processing all reservations, cancellations and amendments to bookings in a timely manner.
* Work closely with all hotel departments in communicating group requirements, special requests including VIPs
* Communicate guest complaints to hotel management and assist in investigations and resolutions
* Be an expert on the hotel rooms, room rates and packages available and upsell when possible
* Assist Group Sales when required.
* Assist Operations Team during large group check in days when required
* Ensure email inboxes are maintained, and response turnaround times kept to a minimum.
* Facilitate the end to end coordination of all group bookings including group blocks relating to inventory, payment and group set up where group does not include catering; group cancellations, rooming lists, terms and conditions and group resumes.
