Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on rail equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
* Diagnose mechanical issues using technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to identify root causes.
* Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to prevent equipment failure.
* Collaborate with project delivery teams to achieve compliance with policies, procedures, and statutory responsibilities.
About You
We are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter or equivalent professionals with 2-3 years of experience in similar roles. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics/Fitters or equivalent.
* Current MR Licence (preferred) but not essential.
* Basic hydraulic knowledge and experience working on heavy mobile equipment, trucks, and diesel engines.
* Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work efficiently with others.
