An exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract Administration Officer to join a State Government department. This role requires you to work full time hours, on an initial temporary basis. This department is based conveniently near public transport and public parking. This department requires someone available to start ASAP. 
**Your new role** 
As an experienced Administrator you will be responsible for taking on a range of office duties, in which will support the workflow of a busy team. Your duties will include: 
- Demonstrate understanding of financial transactions 
- Reconciles accounts received from contractors and ensures payments are correctly coded and processed 
- Contribute to developing a positive safety culture, contributing opinions and ideas for continuous improvement 
- Assists with administrative functions relating to the operation of the division 
- Additional administrative duties as required 
- Quick to pick up process and work in a multi-tasking environment. 
**What you'll need to succeed** 
Previous experience in a similar role within a Government department is desirable. You will also have experience in the following: 
- Demonstrate understanding of invoicing and reconciliation 
- Previous experience as an administrator within finance, contracts, and procurement area. 
- Experience providing customer service in previous roles 
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
- Demonstrate ability to work in a team
