* Permanent Part-time - Week 1 & 2 - Mon to Wed 10.00am to 6.00pm
* Pay rate – $36.05 per hour + superannuation

As a member of the team at St Catherine's - Bathurst, you will be providing essential lifestyle, social and wellbeing services for our residents.
About the Role:
* Encouraging resident choice and participation in individual and group activities
* Assisting in the design, delivery and monitoring of group and individual lifestyle services and activities
* Implementing innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents and where possible involving the wider community, volunteers and residents family and friends
* Provide direct resident care during activities such as bus trips, including assisting with personal hygiene and toileting
* Provide direct resident care in relation to meals service, mobility and social support
* Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
* Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you'll need
* A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
* Certificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Individual Support or similar
* Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
* A reliable team player
* Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents
* Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
