About This Role We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our supportive team in a permanent full time or part time role, working in Friendlies Society Private Hospital clinic. The role is largely Monday to Friday so a great work life balance. Once fully trained you will be required to take part in an on call and weekend roster. What will you be doing? This role involves assisting our Radiologists and Technical staff with interventional procedures, and providing high quality pre, intra and post procedure nursing care to both outpatients and inpatients. There are development opportunities such as training in Cannulation and Advanced Life Support Other duties include: Assisting with Interventional Radiology Cases such as Pain Management Injections, Biopsies, Drainages, Central Line Insertions, Angiograms, Embolisations and Stenting ProceduresScrub, Scout and Recovery responsibilities in our Angiography and Interventional SuitePre and Post Procedural Preparation and CareAdministering Conscious Sedation and Monitoring Vital Signs during proceduresCare of hospital inpatients whilst in the departmentStringent record keeping Ability to work with a multi disciplinary team Desirable but not essential: Cannulation SkillsPrevious Experience in Radiology/Surgical/Procedural NursingAnaesthetic Experience Across Australia, I-MED Radiology Network operates 250 clinics and performs over 6 million patient procedures each year, making us one of the largest providers of medical imaging in the world.
