**Casual opportunity to provide high quality, timely and appropriate levels of security, fire protection and safety services to Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) facilities as required to ensure the protection of persons, the protection of property, the prevention of crime, the preservation of the peace and the protection of information.
About you
Provide comprehensive security services and assistance to patients, visitors, staff and contractors whilst at the same time protecting the physical assets of MNHHS.
Provide a first response presence to all emergency situations including helipad operation where applicable.
Provide close personal protection to staff confronting aggressive and volatile situations in the provision of front line health services.
Prioritise tasks and respond to requests for security and/or emergency assistance in accordance with Queensland Health, Health Service, Facility and Unit guidelines, policies, procedures and protocols.
Prevention, intervention, investigation and recording of crime and incidents within the Health Service as defined by statute law, including but not limited to theft, wilful damage, assault, trespass, smoking and public nuisance offences.
