About the role Reporting to the Project Manager, the Construction Manager lead the delivery of a large scale construction project, for a 50ha tailings facility, including large scale bulk earthworks packages, Geomembrane installation, Electrical installation as well as SMP at a key Southwest mining refinery.The Construction Manager has overall accountability for HSE, Cost, Schedule and Quality of the Construction execution packages, including inspections, conformance and compliance testing, through to handover to operations.

• Diploma in Construction Management or Project Management (Preferred), or• Qualified Professional Trade Skilled in a Civil Background.• Completion of BSBWHS414 and BSBWHS411 (Preferred).
And Experience with: • Greater than 15 years in the Construction field.• Greater than 5 years in a Construction Manager or Superintendent Role.• Experience Managing EPC, EPMC, D&C, TK contracts (Client-side experience preferred).• Experience specifically within the construction of tailings facilities (preferred).This is the 2IC role to the Project Manager so requires a knowledgeable professional committed to the duration of the project, and have the utmost regard for safety and quality.
