* Flexibility of hours. While general work is 9am to 5pm, some services need to be performed out of hours or on weekends.

About the Role
We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT Administrator and Helpdesk Technician, with a very broad range of skills, to join us in supporting our demanding small and medium business customers. This opportunity affords you access to a very broad range of technologies, keep up to date with the latest hardware, software and services, take ownership of key projects and customers, and play an influential role in our small team.
As IT Administrator, you will:
* Oversee, build, upgrade and maintain IT infrastructure for a myriad of customers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
* Manage the entire technology stack, from researching proposals, implementation, maintenance and helpdesk, and eventual migration or decommissioning.
* Manage and troubleshoot a diverse array of technologies, including ERP systems, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), SIP phones, financial systems, CCTV, and office and warehouse hardware and software.
* Configure and support software solutions, such as Google Workspace, SQL databases, AWS Containers, and SSO/SAML setups.
* Administer web hosting platforms, DNS configurations, SSL certificates, and cybersecurity tools.
* Lead IT related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
* Provide advanced support for ad hoc systems like CCTV, NVRs, PBX, alarm systems, and EFTPOS devices.
* Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing innovative IT solutions with a high level of security.
* Take ownership of IT projects, from conception to implementation, ensuring scalability and performance
* Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends through self-learning and training.
As IT Helpdesk Technician, you will:
* Provide L1 to L3 support for users with a wide range of experience. You will need to satisfactorily dispatch L1 requests that just require a restart, to advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of (for eg) web issues reported by experienced developers that may involve WAF/traffic/log analysis, engaging third party vendor support, and creative thinking.
* Support Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android
* Analysis of security-related reports to determine what has happened and how to remediate it.
* Training end users in existing and new technologies. This may range from how to use a formula in Excel, to how to better run their complex workflow with IT tools, to training web programmers on advanced networking or web security principles.
Skills & Experience
We're seeking candidates with:
* 2+ years of experience in network administration and L3 helpdesk, or equivalent.
* Experience with at least half of the following technologies and a mid-to-advanced level in some:
* ERPs, SIP phones, Google Workspace, Office 365, SalesForce, Azure, AWS.
* Project management, working with developers, defining scopes.
* Networking (LAN/WAN/DHCP/Subnetting, Routing, VLANs).
* Web hosting, DNS, SSL certificates, CloudFlare, cPanel and WordPress.
* IT Cybersecurity, RMM, and MDM solutions.
* A proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies, and a drive for self education.
* Act as a self motivated problem solver, always looking for ways to improve our customers' technology stack.
* Strong problem-solving, project management and customer service skills.
* A proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
Additional Info
* We work out of a small office in Ryde as well as customer premises as needed.
* As you gain experience, you will be working from home for some of the time.
