Are you looking to use your creativity to make a positive impact?
Us too. Think HQ is a fast-growing, award-winning agency committed to positive social change. We're looking for an
Art Director
to bring bold, creative ideas to life and craft visual work that inspires audiences and drives meaningful outcomes.
About the role
As Art Director, you'll create sharp, engaging concepts that stand out in integrated campaigns. You'll work alongside Copywriters, Designers, and Strategists to develop work that cuts across PR, advertising, digital, and beyond.
You'll report to our Creative Director and collaborate closely with the wider creative team to produce work that is as original as it is effective. This role offers plenty of scope for growth; you'll refine your craft, broaden your creative voice, and contribute to work that truly matters.
Some of the things you'll be doing:
* Develop high-quality visual ideas that align with brand strategy and campaign goals.
* Collaborate with Copywriters and creative teams to deliver integrated ideas.
* Participate in client meetings and creative briefings.
* Create engaging work across film, print, digital, social media, and PR.
* Stay across industry trends, design formats, and creative technologies.
* Address internal and client feedback constructively.
* Contribute to ideation sessions for campaigns and pitches.
* Have fun along the way.
About you
We're looking for someone who brings creativity and craft, not just someone who ticks boxes. Ideally, you'll have:
* Around 5 years' agency experience (or you might be a junior ready to step up).
* A strong portfolio showcasing your art direction and design skills.
* Proven experience in concept development and visual storytelling.
* A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (AWARD School / Shift D&AD / Western Sydney Ad School a bonus).
* Sharp eye for detail in design, layout, and typography.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Confidence to present ideas internally and to clients.
* Collaborative energy, adaptability, and openness to feedback.
