About the role
Dragon Printing is seeking an experienced Flexographic Label Printer to join our growing team in Mascot, NSW.
This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the efficient and high-quality printing of labels using our state-of-the-art Gallus Press's.
What you'll be doing
* Operate and maintain the Gallus ECS340/ Labelfire flexographic printing press to produce high-quality labels for our clients
* Conduct activities such as plate mounting, ink mixing, and impression settings
* Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistency
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the printing equipment
* Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and achieve targets
* Identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the printing process
* Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and quality standards
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Flexographic Printer, particularly with the Gallus ECS340 or similar equipment
* Specific experience with Gallus printing equipment is preferred
* Strong technical knowledge of flexographic printing processes, materials, and equipment
* Candidates with general label printing trade experience may apply even without specific flexographic printing background
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the printing industry
