About the Role
We are looking for experienced Pathology Collectors to service Lismore.
Part‑time and casual positions available.
Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECGs and Holter monitoring.
Skills and Experience
* Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method.
* Collection of blood and other samples from patients in residential homes and aged care facilities.
* Experience in ECGs, ABP and Holter monitors.
* Processing of pathology specimens.
* Ability to work alone and as part of a busy team.
* Clerical duties and processing paperwork.
* Current QLD driver's licence.
* Ability to communicate with the team, referring doctors and patients.
* Dedication to patient care and service delivery.
* Organisation and problem‑solving skills.
* Prioritise and work under pressure.
* Compliance with work health and safety.
* Current working with children check and police clearance required upon commencement of employment.
