The Role
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our St Paul's home in Frankston, home to 80 residents. The shift pattern that needs to be filled is:
* Week 1 - AM shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) on Saturday and Sunday
* Week 2 - PM shift on Tuesday (2:45 PM - 9:45 PM) and AM shifts on Saturday and Sunday
Responsibilities include providing excellent, resident‑focused care in relation to specialised nursing needs, such as management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medications; maintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documents; overseeing the administration of day‑to‑day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve best resident outcomes and undertaking clinical monitoring of residents and escalating changes as required; spending time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy; providing guidance and support to the care team, including Personal Care workers and Enrolled Nurses.
About you
* Experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) and registration with AHPRA as a Division 1.
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or the ability to obtain it.
* Good judgement and decision‑making skills; able to respond quickly to issues and effectively resolve.
* The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders.
* An understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration.
* A high level of accountability for your own work.
* A friendly and positive attitude with the ability to demonstrate client‑focused behaviour.
