Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced surveyor to support our land and property development team in delivering nationally significant projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake calculations and plan preparations in support of land development projects, ensuring the highest standards are met.
* Manage survey control, including network adjustments covering GNSS, terrestrial, and level control for projects, providing accurate and reliable data.
* Prepare final output surveying data and plans to meet client requirements, showcasing expertise and attention to detail.
* Model underground services and structures from GPR and EML data obtained by in-house service locators, leveraging technical knowledge and skills.
* Maintain proficiency in software such as Civil3D, 12D, and Trimble Business Centre (TBC), staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a field role, preferably in land development/large lot subdivision.
* Proven ability to process complex survey data, resolve issues, and maintain quality standards.
* Registration with the Surveyors Board Queensland is advantageous but not essential.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in survey calculations and reductions using specialized software.
* Strong decision-making, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, enabling effective project delivery.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team, driving results-oriented outcomes.
* Proficiency in identifying and resolving survey data discrepancies, maintaining accuracy and quality.
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
