Job Description
The mechanical engineer will contribute to technology that intelligently protects overhead medium voltage networks, setting industry standards and driving the path toward a sustainable, net-zero future. The ideal candidate will have recently completed their degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) and possess demonstrated experience in simulation and related software.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Australian or New Zealand permanent residency or citizenship.
* Demonstrated experience in simulation and related software through projects, research, or work experience, with a focus on areas like mechanical, electric field, magnetic, thermal, or motion simulation.
* Familiarity with CAD tools (experience with NX is a plus).
* A solid understanding of mechanical design fundamentals (stress, loads, materials, tolerances, manufacturability).
* Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills to explain technical results clearly.
