About the Role
RC Civil Contractors Pty Ltd is one of Sydney's leading Civil Contractors specialising in quality shoring and civil excavation works. Due to rapid expansion and an increase in large scale projects we are looking for an experienced Demolition & Civil works Supervisor to lead onsite demolition operations. The successful candidate will oversee site teams, ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, and deliver projects efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise demolition crews on daily site activities
* Implement and monitor site safety procedures, and environmental controls
* Coordinate machinery, equipment, subcontractors, and waste removal
* Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates
* Liaise with project managers, clients, and inspectors
* Identify potential risks and implement corrective actions promptly
* Supporting team in cleaning and prepare sites, digging trenches, setting braces to support the sides of excavations, cleanMinh up rubble and debris, removing asbestos, lead, and other hazardous waste materials.
* Support in loading materials onto truck, and
* Ensuring all tasks are completed safely
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Demolition Supervisor in a Civil environment or similar role
* Strong knowledge of demolition methods, equipment, and safety regulations
* Experience managing teams and overseeing complex demolition works
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* Asbestos Awareness (or higher-level qualifications desirable)
