Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf. You will ensure high standards of care for the residents, including undertaking nursing tasks such as distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive the required care. Additionally, you will be advising families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition, keeping them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Registered Nurse will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and observing all instructions to act upon his/her behalf whilst you ensure high standards of care to our residents.

* Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
