For the Defence Delivery business, this means aerospace, technology exports, advanced manufacturing and autonomous systems in air, land and sea, as well as tell the stories of our colleagues who are delivering amazing capabilities through new technologies and systems.You will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of communications activities that promote and protect BAE Systems Australia's brand and reputation with internal and external stakeholders. In particular, you will support the relevant team with content creation, digital and media engagement, events, brand development and content optimisation, reporting and measurement for stakeholders.We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, with options of working a 9-day fortnight and/or hybrid working.Key responsibilities:Supporting the team through content capture, creation and delivery for the DD businessProactively developing content for DD including; feature articles, social media content, podcasts, presentation, videoImplementing a content distribution strategy for digital channels including social mediaDelivering and coordinating content across internal employees communications channelsMaintain DD communications calendar - days of note, upcoming events etc.Support social media content development, monitoring, distribution and responsesTactical employee communication advice and support to functions, as requiredMedia monitoring supportCoordination of photography and videography, as requiredContributing to weekly/monthly reporting, as requiredEvent coordination and brand support including managing suppliers and procurement, as requiredAbout YOUExcellent content development skills, in both written and digital media2-3 years' experience in a communications disciplineExperience with social media platformsExperience in managing and engaging with multiple stakeholdersOccasional travel to national, regional and remote sitesBe comfortable working autonomouslyA can do and collaborative attitudeBe resourceful and have curiosity about Defence productsAs a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
