About the role
The Workplace Relations Partner is responsible for delivering high-quality, responsive HR and industrial relations services across the organisation. You will provide advice, coaching and practical support to managers and staff on complex employee relations matters, contribute to organisational change initiatives, and support People & Culture strategies that drive compliance, engagement, and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
* Provide expert advice, coaching, and support to managers on employee and industrial relations matters, including grievances, performance management, and disciplinary processes
* Lead or support organisational change initiatives, workforce planning, and HR projects while influencing positive culture and outcomes
* Monitor, interpret, and apply industrial agreements, awards, and employment legislation consistently across the organisation
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, unions, and external organisations to support operational and strategic HR initiatives
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
* Strong generalist HR and employee relations skills with proven ability to interpret Awards, Agreements, and employment legislation
* Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to coach and guide senior management
* Desirable: experience in recruitment, learning & development, change management, OHS/Return to Work processes, and industrial dispute representation
