Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Licensed Customs Broker to join our team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for end-to-end customs clearance activities, ensuring accurate, compliant and timely processing of import and export declarations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lodgement of import and export entries via Cargowise
* Tariff classification and valuation advice
* Management of AQIS/DAFF, duty, GST and compliance requirements
* Liaising with clients, freight forwarders and government authorities
* Providing technical advice and problem resolution
* Ensuring compliance with all ABF and legislative requirements
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Current Australian Customs Broker Licence
* Strong knowledge of customs legislation, tariff classification and valuation
* Experience using ICS and Cargowise
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
