We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary / Office Manager (minimum 3 years' experience) to join our close-knit team. This is a critical role providing high-level support to our Principal Solicitor and the broader team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and first-class client service.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide primary executive and administrative support to the Principal.
* Prepare, edit and format legal correspondence, court documents, and client letters.
* Manage calendars, client appointments, court dates, and deadlines.
* Assist with billing processes, including staff KPI tracking (billable hours) and monthly invoicing.
* Open and close client files, maintain accurate records, and manage file archiving.
* Liaise professionally with clients, counsel, and court staff.
* Ensure office systems, templates, and processes run efficiently to support the legal team.


About You

* Minimum 3 years' experience as a legal secretary / Office Manager, ideally in family law or a related practice area.
* Strong knowledge of legal procedures, court filing, and practice management software (e.g. LEAP or similar).
* Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines with precision and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-first approach.
* Proven experience in assisting with billing, invoicing, and KPI tracking.
* Professional, organised, and proactive with a strong work ethic and a commitment to confidentiality.
