Project Coordinator Role
This position involves coordinating projects to ensure they are completed within the allocated timeframe, budget, and safety standards. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, ensuring staff complete quality control and safety documentation, informing customers of progress, and managing the project budget.
Required skills and qualifications include experience in a manufacturing environment, project management, customer management, and communication. A mechanic or electrician trade background is desirable. The successful candidate will have a 'safety first' attitude, a strong desire to learn, well-developed communication skills, and be a strong team player contributing to a positive team environment.
The role offers an opportunity to work efficiently, set and achieve high standards of workmanship, and perform various tasks including ordering stock and equipment, ensuring resources are available, and performing performance management.
Key responsibilities:
* Ensure all stock and/or equipment are ordered in line with allowances made in the tender process
* Ensure timelines are managed and the project is completed on the customer's expected date
* Ensure all staff complete appropriate quality control and safety documentation
* Ensure the customer is informed of progress during the project
* Manage the project budget and provide weekly feedback to the project manager
