Position Overview:
We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Dispensary Technician to join our team full-time (38 hours/week). You'll play a key role in providing excellent patient care, supporting smooth pharmacy operations, and being part of a genuinely enjoyable team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications
* Provide friendly, professional advice and support to customers
* Maintain stock levels and assist with inventory management
* Support day-to-day pharmacy operations, including administrative tasks and deliveries if needed
* Adhere to pharmacy policies, procedures, and safety regulations
* Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a seamless, high-quality service
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience as a Dispensary Technician or Pharmacy Assistant
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
* Commitment to patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance
* Comfortable using pharmacy software and point-of-sale systems
Desirable Qualifications:
* Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy (or equivalent) preferred but not essential
