 
        
        Project Manager – SAP S/4HANA About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – S/4HANA to lead the transition to a modern, cloud-based SAP S/4HANA finance platform from ECC6. This is part of a broader finance transformation program across multiple government agencies, requiring strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and governance expertise.
The role will oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment across business areas, effective stakeholder engagement, risk and issue management, and the delivery of high-quality project artefacts and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, working closely with business areas, executives, subject matter experts, and other agencies.
 * Deliver high-level communication and documentation to sponsors and stakeholders, including progress reports, milestone tracking, and benefits realisation.
 * Develop and deliver project activities using recognised methodologies (Prince2/Agile), program governance frameworks, and change management strategies.
 * Proactively manage project risks, issues, and escalations within an established governance framework.
 * Produce high-quality project artefacts such as submissions, reports, highlight reports, briefing notes, presentations, and recommendations.
 * Drive organisational change and ensure stakeholders are engaged and prepared for the transition.
Role Suitability Essential requirements:
 * Minimum 10 years' experience in project management.
 * Strong background in financial systems projects, preferably with SAP implementations.
 * Demonstrated experience in project reporting, governance, and working within government or large, complex organisations.
 * Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
 * Proven ability to lead organisational reform and transformational change initiatives.
 * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage risks and propose practical solutions.
Highly regarded:
 * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analysis, Information Systems, or related discipline.
 * Project/program management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, Agile).
