About the role:
Providing a range of administrative functions to the Executive Director Legal and Governance, Directors and National Managers, including organising meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes, preparing briefing materials, correspondence and other documentation accurately and in a timely and consistent format. Efficiently managing Executive Director's diary and undertaking event planning and coordination.
Key responsibilities:
* Screen and effectively manage incoming enquiries
* Booking / amending travel for staff in Legal and Governance division
* Exercise initiative and judgment with the preparation, collation and dissemination of documentation
* Develop and maintain best practice hardcopy/electronic filing systems and monitor the quality and consistency of soft copy filing using consistent filing conventions
* Demonstrate initiative in ensuring an efficient and coordinated working environment
* Undertake research, provide sound advice and appropriate correspondence as required
Key requirements:
* Extensive experience in office administration
* Experience working within a highly confidential environment
* Highly developed Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; and Outlook)
* Excellent verbal, numerical, and written communication skills
* Adaptable to changing and competing priorities, with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Ability to work as a member of a team and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the ability to work in a self-directed manner, take initiative, and work independently when required
