Fund Accountants (All levels)
Adecco's Banking & Financial Services Team is recruiting on behalf of a Global Financial Institution for the following positions. All roles are hybrid & for permanent employment only.

Our client is a global financial institution with a strong reputation in investment operations and fund administration. Following recent growth in the Australian market, they are establishing a new middle-office hub to support regional and global investment teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a formative stage and contribute to building best-in-class operational capability.
Responsibilities
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly NAV calculations and ensure accuracy of unit pricing.
Reconcile cash, positions, and transactions between internal records, custodians, and administrators.
Review and process journal entries, accruals, and expense provisions.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting cycles.
Assist with audit preparation, tax packs, and regulatory filings.
Identify process improvements and support automation or control initiatives as the middle-office capability scales.
Partner with internal stakeholders across performance, compliance, and investment teams to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insight.
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA / CA qualification is an advantage).
3 – 12 years of experience in fund accounting or investment operations, ideally within an asset manager, custodian, or fund administrator.
Strong technical understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives).
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with fund accounting or portfolio management systems (e.g., Geneva, Investran, Eagle, SimCorp Dimension).
Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and contribute to process design and improvement.
