Provide a high standard of dental assisting skills and practice, both clinical and administrative, to dental clinicians in the treatment of clients working in a multi-disciplinary team in a variety of work travelling to hospitals, community health and school program settings throughout the Torres and Cape Oral Health work unit.

The Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (TCHHS) is an independent statutory body governed by a single Board, and managed from hubs in Weipa, Cairns and Thursday Island. It is the most northerly of Queensland's Hospital and Health Services and covers over 158,000km2 across 13 local government areas.
