About the Role:
A Demi Chef de Partie at Hilton Worldwide Inc. is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to deliver an exceptional Guest and Member experience while assisting with food cost controls.
Key Responsibilities:
* Food Preparation: Prepare and present high-quality dishes within company guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
* Cleanliness and Organization: Keep all working areas clean and tidy, ensuring no cross-contamination and maintaining a safe working environment.
* Mise en Place: Prepare all mise en place for relevant menus, adhering to standard recipes and presentation standards.
* Guest Service: Assist in providing positive outcomes from guest queries promptly and efficiently, ensuring seamless communication and problem-solving skills.
* Inventory Management: Ensure foodstuffs are of good quality and stored correctly, contributing to controlling costs and improving gross profit margins.
* Team Collaboration: Contribute to controlling costs, improving gross profit margins, and achieving departmental and financial targets as part of a high-performing team.
* Maintenance and Reporting: Report maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues, ensuring compliance with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health, safety, and food safety legislation.
