About the job
As an Audit Senior, you will be involved in the leadership and mentoring of your team, the audit reporting and management of your client base. You will be provided with opportunities for long‐term career progression and exposure to various assignments in several industry sectors, including external audit, internal audit and financial reporting for private and public entities.
* Lead the planning, execution and completion of audit engagements with oversight from the Partners and Senior Management Group.
* Assist with reporting to Boards of Directors and those charged with governance.
* Mentor and coach graduates, intermediates and light senior staff members.
* Take a lead role in technical research, business development, financial report preparation and group reporting.
* Support the team through other ad hoc assurance work.
* Develop your knowledge with U Learn, the Forvis Mazars individualized learning platform.
About you
* 3–7 years of external audit experience in Australia.
* Financial services audit experience essential.
* Completed CA or CPA (or near completion; financial support and study time provided by Forvis Mazars).
* Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent) or another related accounting degree.
* Proactive team player.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Have full rights to work in Australia.
