The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a **Reintegration Services Supervisor** to provide a critical role at Hopkins Correctional Centre.
**About the Business Unit**
This position is located in Grampians Region at Hopkins Correctional Centre which is a medium security prison housing up to 798 male prisoners with low to medium protection requirements.
The Reintegration Services Team is situated within the Vocational Services portfolio at Hopkins Correctional Centre. The work of the team is informed by the Corrections Victoria Reintegration Pathway (CVRP) and the Correctional Practice Framework (CPF). The team has a focus on supporting individual prisoner development towards successful reintegration into society upon release from prison.
**About the Role**
Hopkins Correctional Centre has two Reintegration Services Supervisors who are assigned responsibilty for the supervision, development and support of a team that may include Reintegration Program Facilitators, Assessment and Transition Coordinators, Reintegration Support Officers, Recreation Officers, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander support staff.
The Reintegration Services Supervisor oversees program planning, development, implementation and evaluation to ensure that programs are meeting the needs of prisoners and the prison environment. Stakeholder management and community engagement is a high priority for the Reintegration Services Supervisor to ensure positive relationships that enable high quality service delivery within the prison.
Some of your duties will include:
- Supervise the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of a range of programs and services to support and assist prisoners' personal development towards successful reintegration into society and a reduction in recidivism.
- Supervise and lead a team of Reintegration Services staff ensuring ongoing training, support and performance management is provided.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable cohesive service delivery

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated understanding of transition and reintegration issues and needs of prisoners.
- Knowledge of the limitations imposed on program delivery within a correctional environment.
- Experience in planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs.
**Qualifications/requirements**
- A tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline is desirable.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in human services, welfare practice or related fields are highly regarded.
