Home Care Assistant Role
This role involves providing person-centered care and support to clients in their own homes by assisting with daily living and lifestyle requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and other tasks as required
* Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, traveling to medical appointments and other errands
* Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
* Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
* Performing work under the supervision of a designated team leader
Services are generally provided between the hours of 6 AM - 6 PM, Monday to Friday.
Essential Requirements:
* Australian Federal Police Clearance
* Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
* Smartphone with internet access
