They are seeking a Cyber Security Technical Writer to join them on an initial 6 month contract to assist them with the documentation of key security information/practices.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Create and Edit Documentation**: Develop and refine user manuals, policies, and other cybersecurity documents.
- **Tailor Content for All Audiences**: Write accessible materials for both technical and non-technical users.
- **Collaborate with Experts**: Work closely with cybersecurity professionals to gather accurate information.
- **Organise Documentation**: Maintain a well-structured, up-to-date repository.
- **Simplify Complex Concepts**: Translate technical terms into user-friendly formats for all audiences.
- **Ensure Compliance**: Review materials for clarity, compliance, and adherence to industry standards (e.g. NIST, ISO).
- **Develop Training Materials**: Help create educational resources on cybersecurity best practices.
- **Incorporate Feedback**: Use user feedback to improve documentation.
**Experience**:
- Proven experience writing and editing technical documentation in cybersecurity.
- Strong ability to simplify complex security concepts for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and regulatory frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST-CSF, etc.)
- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience creating training materials.
- Knowledge of documentation management tools.
- Understanding of cybersecurity technologies.
