Overview
Permanent position with stability. $42.38/hr + $5000 Quarterly Bonus + $550 Weekly Regional allowance + overtime opportunities. Work on a variety of heavy vehicles and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled corrective and preventative maintenance services
- Work on trucks, trailers and heavy mobile equipment
- Perform fault diagnostics to detect mechanical and electrical faults
- Test drive and/or operate equipment to ensure the repair has been completed correctly
- Repair or replace defective parts on all heavy vehicles and equipment
About You
- An unrestricted HR license as a minimum
- Certificate III Automotive-Mechanical-Heavy Vehicle Road Transport
- Must have a team-focused attitude
- Experience in the waste industry would be advantageous
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- A professional presentation and manner with a strong customer service ethic
- Willing to take a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
