Mincore Pty Ltd is a specialist engineering consultancy delivering engineering studies, design and project delivery services across the mining, minerals processing, building materials and heavy industry sectors.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to support a portfolio of mining and mineral processing projects. This is a contract role based in Melbourne, working across early-stage studies through to EPCM execution.
The Role You will be responsible for preparing and managing capital and operating cost estimates across a range of projects, from early concept studies through to detailed execution phases.
Key Responsibilities
Develop CAPEX and OPEX estimates across study phases (Scoping, PFS, DFS) and EPCM execution
Prepare estimates aligned with AACE classification (Class 5 to Class 2)
Build and maintain cost models, benchmarking data, and estimating tools
Review engineering deliverables to ensure alignment with estimate basis
Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives
Work closely with engineering, procurement, and project controls teams
Provide input into project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
Contribute to tender submissions and commercial proposals
