About the Team
* Government Shared Services (GSS) is a new division in DCS leading the way in streamlining processes and transactional shared services, allowing staff to focus on customers and service delivery.
* We are developing a roadmap to leverage technology, streamline processes, replace legacy systems, and deliver a consistent experience to more than 100 agencies across 8 NSW Government Departments.
What you will do
* Own all stages of the automation development process to ensure requirements are documented and met, designing and delivering robust automations that deliver quality and productivity benefits for DCS.
* Build and manage automations using UiPath, aligning with the UiPath ReFramework and process design documents (PDD).
* Lead automation adoption and uptake through targeted change management and end‑user training initiatives.
* Utilise technical expertise from key stakeholders in the requirements analysis phase to ensure the solution is fit‑for‑purpose.
* Design and execute acceptance testing to improve quality and reduce operational risk of the automated process.
* Provide ongoing analysis and review of DCS/GSS processes to identify opportunities to improve and enhance automation.
* Manage and share knowledge on specialised code, capturing repeat functions so teams can leverage a consistent approach.
About You
* Strong experience in RPA development using UiPath.
* Solid knowledge of RPA best practices and understanding of SDLC, DevOps and Agile development methodologies.
* Experience as an RPA Consultant, Senior RPA Developer or RPA Technical Lead.
* Experience developing and implementing automated UiPath processes or comparable development experience.
* Knowledge of AI and machine learning.
* Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, JIRA, Power BI, .NET and Visual Basic (VB).
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Highly proficient in MS Excel, MS Visio and MS PowerPoint.
