Financial Systems Architect and Business Analyst Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead initiatives focused on designing, implementing new modules and enhancements in the Oracle Financial Cloud environment.
* Provide project leadership in planning, design, implementation, and support of business applications.
* Work independently with business process owners to understand new requirements and translate them into an action plan.
System Integration and Data Management
* Manage integrations with ancillary systems while ensuring data integrity.
* Create or modify reports in Oracle Financials Cloud using OTBI, BI Publisher, or FRS.
Vendor Management and Quality Assurance
* Act as liaison between business users and technical resources to facilitate system changes and resolve problems.
* Manage vendor relationships and ensure service level agreements are met.
Data Analysis and Business Intelligence
* Extract data from internal and external systems and analyze results.
* Develop and present actionable recommendations and solutions to internal constituents.
Regulatory Compliance and Audit Support
* Perform administrative tasks required to establish and maintain compliance with various regulatory standards.
* Prepare and maintain department workflows, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
* Proficiency in Oracle Financials E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud & PBCS, Hyperion, and related tools.
Special Requirements:
* Experience with GAAP reporting, managing intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.
* Knowledge of revenue recognition standards, ASC 606.
* Working knowledge of integration platforms with Oracle.
* Familiarity with MAR, Independent Financial, and SOC 1 audit requirements.
* Rolling forecast and budget practices.
* Project management skills.
* Ability to create advanced business models, integrated revenue/expense analysis, projections, reports, and presentations.
