Job Title: Senior Laboratory Manager
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background and excellent leadership skills to manage a team of medical scientists in a multi-disciplinary laboratory setting.
* Prioritize workflow to meet clients' requirements
* Ensure results are released within agreed turnaround times
* Liaise with senior staff and Pathologists regarding unusual and abnormal results
* Oversee the management of laboratory equipment to ensure it is maintained in optimal condition
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with quality control and regulatory standards
• Develop and implement effective processes for managing laboratory workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Requirements:
A Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) or equivalent degree, at least 2 years of experience in a scientific role, and strong interpersonal skills are required.
