What you'll do:
* Contribute to Assurance-wide finance projects and change initiatives. Manage forecasting, budgeting, and month-end reporting for your Business Units (BU) while independently delivering insights from key financial and non-financial metrics.
* Build strong relationships with Partners, the wider Finance and Operations (F&O) team, People and Culture (P&C), and Resource Management (RM) to influence the Assurance Finance Function.
* Ensure high standards, coach Finance team members, and maintain compliance with Assurance controls across your BU. And also ensure the ongoing recoverability and valuation of WIP and Debtor balances by delivering actionable insights for business growth.
* Regularly analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including accruals and provisions, and monitor billings and cash collections against monthly targets, suggesting key areas for improvement.
* Enhance AI and digital proficiency within the finance team by learning and adopting firm initiatives. Additionally, you will actively develop Finance reporting capabilities and share knowledge with the wider team.
* Drive and maintain process improvements across the Business Units (BU) to innovate and embed new ways of working, including automating repetitive finance workflows using tools and technology such as AI.
What we're looking for:
* Must possess a degree and have completed either CA or CPA qualifications.
* Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and relationship management skills, alongside strong people skills to coach and adapt to different working styles.
* Demonstrated ability as a strong project manager who is deadline-driven, capable of handling competing priorities with high attention to detail and accuracy.
* Commercially minded with the ability to strategically advise leadership on business challenges and opportunities; self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
* Highly systems literate, with experience in Alteryx, Power BI, and Anaplan highly valued.
