In this role, you will help lead the way we tell our story - to our teams, our clients, and the industry - through clear, thoughtful, and aligned messaging. In this role, you'll help guide communications for a company with deep roots and a sharp focus on the future.
All owned content will funnel through this role. You will be the central voice behind our messaging and the connective tissue across teams, channels, and audiences. From thought leadership and campaign messaging to media pitches and merger announcements, you will ensure every piece of communication reflects a consistent tone, purpose, and direction.
You will be part of a collaborative, fast-moving environment where communication is viewed as a business-critical function. You will partner across business operations, marketing, leadership, and external media to ensure our messaging connects with clarity and purpose. You will contribute to how our people understand the work we do, how our clients experience our brand, and how the market sees our continued momentum.
This role is fully remote, with limited travel, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact from wherever you are.
What you'll do
Develop and implement communications plan that supports business goals and company initiatives
Create content strategies that position Atwell as a thought leader and drives brand awareness
Lead campaigns and collaborate with the Communications Team to create content for social media, website, news releases, intranet, and newsletters
Evolve and maintain company messaging and brand voice to drive consistency across all owned content
Identify story opportunities, pitch media, and build relationships with key media outlets
Partner with leadership on messaging and strategy for executive communications, including mergers and acquisitions
Build intentional, long-term relationships with business operations to position the team as a strategic partner
Manage content team resources, including consultants, to drive initiatives forward to meet goals and deadlines
What you bring
8+ years in corporate communications, public relations, or content strategy
Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry or the Power & Energy, Oil & Gas, or Land Development industries is required
Strong writing and editing skills, with a proven ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
A strategic mindset with the ability to connect messaging to business outcomes
Confidence working across departments and with senior leadership
Familiarity with managing messaging around change, growth, and brand evolution
Why Atwell
Atwell is growing fast, and communications is central to how we stay connected, aligned, and forward-thinking. You will join a team that values clarity, creativity, and collaboration. You will have the opportunity to influence high-level messaging and help strengthen a brand with national reach. And you will do it all in a culture that trusts its people to take ownership and deliver with intention.
If you are a communicator who thrives in dynamic environments, understands the nuances of the AEC space, and wants to help shape how a growing company tells its story, we'd love to hear from you.
