Our team is seeking a skilled IT professional to fill the role of Cloud and Datacentre Infrastructure Specialist. This position is part of our managed services department, responsible for delivering technical support and assistance with incident and change management.
This specialist will be accountable for maintaining virtualised compute environments, proactively addressing issues and reacting to incidents. They will assist users with access and security management, owning the administration and management of user access domains and groups.
The ideal candidate will have experience with VMWare, Microsoft, and Cisco computing platforms, as well as certifications from major vendors. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment are essential.

A strong stakeholder communication and vendor management focus is key in this role. The successful candidate will be an escalation point for more complex Cloud and DC incidents encountered by Service Desk or other teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain virtualised compute environments through proactive maintenance and reactive incident response
* Assist users with access and security management, including administration and management of user access domains and groups
* Identify and remediate vulnerabilities within defined SLAs across multiple platforms and vendors
* Monitor, diagnose, and solve performance issues that are or have the potential to be service impacting
* Provide strong stakeholder communication and vendor management
Requirements:
* Experience with VMWare, Microsoft, and Cisco computing platforms
* Certifications from major vendors (e.g. VMWare, Microsoft, Cisco)
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* A willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment
